Committee
The executive committee of the Symphony Orchestra is a group of students who have been elected to be responsible for the day-to-day running of the orchestra. Elections for the executive committee are held annually in the 2nd term of the academic year, and anyone who is a student can run for a position. You can meet this year's executive committee below.

Hi, I'm Jemma, I am a second year biologist and play violin in the orchestra. I also enjoy lots of outdoor activities such as kyaking, tennis, walking and rock-climbing. I love traveling and meeting new people, if I haven't met you yet please come and introduce yourself to me :D

Hi, I'm Kirsty. I'm a second year Mathematician and I play viola. I've really enjoyed my time in Symphony Orchestra and am looking forward to being on the exec next year! I'm also part of Mixed Netball and Chinese Kickboxing.

I'm a first year maths postgrad, but was here for my undergraduate degree too. I play the violin, and can generally be found looking excitable and carrying a cup of coffee. As well as secretary, I'm currently the "official webmaster", so let me know when you find a mistake in the website!

Hi everyone, I am Vincent. I'm a first year mathematician and I'll be your Librarian for the year. My job is to look after the scores and to prepare bowings for string instruments. I play the violin and apart from playing in the symphony orchestra I also enjoy playing in string quartets.

Hello. I'm a cellist and have been playing with the symphony orchestra ever since the free concert rehearsal in my first week here. I also play in the string orchestra. When not playing music, I'm likely to be listening to music. Apart from all this music thing, I do maths, socialise and watch films.
